Gig Slick ("we", "our", or "us") is a mobile application for venue owners to create, manage, and confirm live music gigs. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using the Gig Slick app, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Collect
Phone Number
We collect your mobile phone number solely for the purpose of authenticating your identity via Firebase Phone Authentication (provided by Google). A one-time verification code is sent to your number at sign-in. We do not use your phone number for marketing purposes.
Venue & Gig Information
When you use the app, you voluntarily provide information including:
- Venue name and contact details
- Gig dates, set times, and base guarantees
- Performer application data
- Booking confirmations and cancellations
This data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore and is used to operate the core features of the app.
Push Notification Token
If you grant notification permission, we collect a device push notification token via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). This token is used only to deliver booking-related notifications to your device and is never shared with third parties for advertising.
Calendar Access
If you choose to add a confirmed gig to your device calendar, we request read/write access to your calendar solely to create that single event. We do not read existing calendar data or store any calendar information on our servers.
Information We Do Not Collect
- Precise or approximate location
- Camera or microphone data
- Contacts from your address book
- Payment or financial information
- Browsing or search history
How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate your identity and maintain your account
- To display, manage, and update your gigs and applications
- To send booking confirmation and cancellation notifications
- To add confirmed gig events to your device calendar (only when you request it)
- To improve app stability and performance
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

Gig Slick uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

Data Retention
Your account data and gig records are retained for as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your data, please contact us at the address below and we will remove your information within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Gig Slick is intended for use by adults (18 years and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us.
Delete Your Account
You may request the deletion of your Gig Slick account and all associated data at any time. To do so, send an email to tommysoftware333@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the phone number associated with your account.
Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete:
- Your Firebase Authentication account and phone number
- All venue and gig records you have created
- All performer applications associated with your account
- Your device push notification token
Deletion will be completed within 30 days of receiving your request. Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
